“Create and Connect” Exhibit by Idea Public Schools

McAllen- Visitors to McAllen’s April Art Walk can expect another year of exemplary works by IDEA Public Schools’ art students. The art show titled “Create and Connect” will take place during McAllen’s First Friday Art Walk at the McAllen Creative Incubator, located at 601 N. Main St. in McAllen, on April 1st at 7 p.m.

Carefully curated by IDEA’s exhibition coordinator and art instructor, Andres Flores, “Our students and teachers are so excited to show the community the up-and-coming artistic talent that IDEA Public Schools helps cultivate.  We hope you can make it out and show your support for local talent. Enjoy our student’s artwork, work from local artists, as well as vendors with handmade products”.

This exhibit, “Create and Connect”, will feature works from IDEA Tres Lagos, Mission, Owassa, Quest, Pharr, San Juan, Judson, and Weslaco Pike campuses. Make plans to attend this great family friendly night to support youth art and art education.
