During Art Walk, in the Arts District, you can find upcoming artist exhibiting their works in different venues.  At the Incubator, we will be hosting Uriel Landeros & TerraPlex.

The sound of TERRAPLEX, has been described by musical connoisseurs as “cosmic jazz funk” – the bridging together of electronic rhythms and ethereal synthesizers with jazz instrumentation. Throughout a thoughtful collaboration, Garrick Pitts (multi-instrumentalist), and Andres Aguirre (House and Techno DJ/producer), have combined their respective international live performance and studio recording experiences into fruition, now culminating in the release of their debut album due Friday May 06, 2022.  The event at The Creative Incubator will highlight an exclusive TERRAPLEX performance from 8pm to 9pm, which will then be followed by the official Album Release Show at Tropicasa from 10pm to 2am.

You can also find activities from our Tenants: “Find the comic artist in you at the McAllen Art Walk! Our tenants, Trucha, will guide you on how to create your very own comic with full sized layouts, colors, and more. This is a fun way for little kids (and big kids too!) to express their ideas and bring stories to life!”

The public is invited to visit the exhibits, enjoy the music and meet Incubator & visiting Artists on May 6, 2022 from 7pm-9pm at 601 N. Main Street, McAllen. The feature exhibit will remain on display at the Incubator until May 27, 2022.  Visit our social media pages for when Art Walks return in September.
