McAllen String Academy is the arm for Education, teaching children age 5 to adults to play the violin through a curriculum including private and group lessons, theory and master classes, chamber music and performance opportunities.

McAllen String Academy announces a new course this fall. Now offering Mommy & me classes for children from 0 to 3 years old.

Based on the theory of freedom of movement of María Montessoris’ method, this class promotes the consolidation of coordinated gross motor movement in relation to a fixed rhythm, the appreciation of classical music, social adaptation, self-confidence and encouragement of natural curiosity and imagination.

Infants and toddlers will begin to understand and enjoy music through listening, singing, dancing, musical games, instrument exploration and more. Our various class levels are developmentally and age-appropriate to promote fine and gross motor skills and brain maturation.

Fall season will run from September 20th to December 18th Wednesdays and Saturdays at the McAllen Creative Incubator on 601 N Main St, Suite 12, McAllen, TX 78501.
