South Texas College partners with the McAllen Creative Incubator in a new exhibit

“South Texas College x McAllen Creative Incubator” celebrates the spirit of partnership with an exhibition that features artwork by Rio Grande Valley community artists who started their careers at STC. The quality of the wide range of mediums highlights the excellence of the South Texas College faculty’s ongoing mentorship to a generation of artists in painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, ceramics, printmaking, and sculpture.

The exhibition at the Creative Art Incubator is located at 601 N Main Street in McAllen, TX. Admission is free and open to the public.

Enjoy exhibit from September 2 through September 29, with an opening reception during the McAllen Art Walk on September 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.

As a public institution of higher education, South Texas College provides educational opportunities through excellence in teaching and learning, workforce development, cultural enrichment, community service, and regional and global collaborations.

The South Texas College Art Program allows students to combine studio courses in art with a broad range of liberal arts courses. This equips them with the skills, values, and knowledge needed to develop as artists.
