McA2 seeks qualified instructors for upcoming workshop series

The demand for affordable arts programs in McAllen has enticed the McAllen Creative Incubator to seek qualified instructors for the following Workshops: Writing, Acting, Social Media Training, Dance, Languages, Photography and more.

It is the Creative Incubator’s mission to strengthen the creative sector for McAllen, to include arts, culture and for-profit creative businesses, by engaging the art businesses, creative communities, providing capacity-building services, and serving as a leader and a convener. The McAllen Creative Incubator (MCA2), with the support of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, is uniquely positioned to actively connect the creative sector with the art, business, and creative communities.

“We are very excited to bring these programs to our community,” said Laura Robles, Cultural Arts & Incubator Coordinator “The program is called Creative& Enrichment classes. Art isn’t something that is meant to be stored away. It’s a talent, seeking to be expressed, noticed, and enjoyed. We want Instructors who seeks to ‘pass-on’ their unique talents. For those who will be attending the workshops, this is an opportunity to explore your creative side, in a supportive environment.”

There is compensation for qualified instructors. If you are an artist or certified instructor qualified in your field and are interested in this collaborative program to enhance our community in the Cultural Arts, contact Laura Robles at 956-687-2787 or via email at lrobles@visitmcallen.com.
